Introduction to Knife Making

Craftsman have been producing knives by hand for centuries using the tools of the forge. You can learn their secrets in our introductory class on blade smithing. Class will cover forging techniques, identifying steel types for knives, designing a project knife, and grinding/tempering/heat treating. Each student will produce a knife, complete with basic handle materials.
